The DAWES Project is the Domestic Abuse Women’s Employment Support Service. Funded by The Big Lottery Fund, the project was developed from the work of Greater Manchester Pay and Employment Rights Advice Service and Greater Manchester Domestic Violence Helpline.

DAWES provides specialist legal employment rights support to women experiencing, or who have experienced domestic abuse. It also provides assistance to employers around good practice in dealing with domestic abuse as a workplace issue.
